“Duel” CTN 2016 Show Opening Film
Directed by Tim Rudder and Wira Winata, produced by Bobby Beck through the collaborative website Artella. This production has spanned across 16 time zones and had a 46 person team who’ve all had a hand in its creation. I was granted the amazing opportunity to work on this project as their environment modeler. Giving me the pleasure of bringing Tobi Trebeljahr’s designs and concept work into the 3D realm.

I also got to meet my fellow team members on one of my other projects Pure and got to see the panel my directors Eric Swymer and Chris Figat were on. Other crazy talented directors on this panel were; Jorge Gutierrez (well known for his work on Book of Life, he is also directing his own project called Poopi Lopez ) and Carlos Baena and his short film La Noria, and Everett Downing and his up and coming project Book of Mojo. Who are all using Artella as their platform for gathering their teams.
Collaborative Film-making from your Home - The Making of Duel
My last day at CTN 2016 was mostly overshadowed by the fear and excitement of the “Making Of Duel” Panel that I was to be apart of.
I can honestly say this was probably the most nerve wracking thing I’ve done in a long time, and yet I was so overly excited and so grateful for the opportunity to talk about getting to work on Duel and getting to work with this amazing international team.
I also learned that I make really hilarious faces when I’m talking and nervous.
